Lately I have been feeling like I am being taken over. There is so much going on and it is beginning to consume me and I feel like I am tumbling out of control. It is almost as if I am standing by and watching it all happen. There is no time to sit back and kick my feet up, because if I do, then it triggers a fast forward affect and everything piles up and becomes more overwhelming and less controllable.
I get asked alot, “How do you do it?” “How do you manage with 3 little one?” or I get told, “I don’t know how you do it” , “I wouldn’t be able to do it with all you have on your plate”. Well, my answer is I just do. If I don’t it wont get done and my babies need me. There is no rhyme or reason, there are no fairies that come out and wave magic wands or sprinkle fairy dust.
I am no Super hero, or magical being. I am a human being with a family. I work over 40 hours a week at my “9-5” and I come home and work from the time I pick up the first kid until I drop of the last one at about 7:45 am the next day. Sleeping is a luxury, and my bath tub is my sanctuary. Driving home to and from work is my time to just breathe and even then my mind is on overdrive. Constantly thinking of what has to get done. Appointments, assesments, clothes, dinner, cleaning, bed time, etc.
No time for a pity party, it wont do any good. Just Do It!!!!
